Affordable Housing

Rental Assistance and Security Deposit Pilot Program 

The Town of Morrisville is actively addressing housing challenges arising from rapid regional growth. Since 2019, the Town has worked with consultants to develop an Affordable Housing Plan, explore incentives for developers, and design programs to assist public employees. Key efforts include:

• Land for Affordable Housing: Evaluating town-owned parcels at 101–105 Church Street for potential affordable housing development.
• Development Incentives: In August 2023, the Town Council adopted a policy providing incentives for affordable multi-family and single-family housing.

These initiatives aim to expand housing options, support residents, and encourage responsible growth in Morrisville.
