White Goods Collection

The Morrisville Public Works Staff provides a white goods collection every three months for the collection of bulky appliances.

Collection Dates 

 

2026

  • The Spring white goods collection will be on March 5, 2026
  • The Summer white goods collection will be on June 4, 2026
  • The Fall white goods collection will be on September 3, 2026
  • The Winter white goods collection will be on December 3, 2026

Acceptable Items

Items that will be collected include:

  • Washing machines
  • Dryers
  • Freezers
  • Refrigerators
  • Dishwashers
  • Water heaters
  • Stoves and ovens
  • Window air conditioners
  • Dehumidifiers 

Microwaves are not included in the collection. Microwaves should be dropped off at the South Wake Landfill at 6130 Old Smithfield Road in Apex, or at one of the Town's Green Day events in the spring or fall.

Registration

Registration is required to participate in each of the white goods collections. The registration form opens one month prior to the pick-up date, and requests must be received by 5 p.m. on the Monday of the pickup week.

White goods item collection is limited to residents receiving curbside collection as part of the Town's solid waste collection program. Residences served by dumpsters will need to make arrangements with their homeowners' association for disposal.

  

Please make sure your item is on the curb by 7 a.m. on the pickup day. 

Public Works Staff will collect items on the registration list from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
