The Town was recognized as an All-America City (AAC) by the National Civic League in 2021 and again in 2026, one of only 10 communities nationwide to earn this title. The AAC Award recognizes communities that leverage civic engagement, collaboration, inclusiveness and innovation to successfully address local issues. In 2026, Morrisville was the only municipality in North Carolina named as one of 20 finalists and as a Top 10 All-America City.

These accolades are reflective of the warm connection felt throughout the town that residents say make Morrisville so unique. This is being further enhanced with the addition of the Town Center, which broke ground in fall 2025, to create a downtown destination that will include the Town Green, an amphitheater, and a mix of cottage retail. The Town Center District also includes the Morrisville Community Library, the Town’s first dog park (opened 2025), Indian Creek Trailhead and playground, and the Western Wake Farmers Market.

Since 2000, Morrisville's population has ballooned from 5,000 to over an estimated 34,800 residents as of December 2025. In addition, 74% of the population is over age 18, according to the 2020 Census. The Town and the community are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all residents, businesses, and visitors.
