Communications & Outreach

The Communications Department is responsible for the production and dissemination of information about Town operations and business to both the public at large and to Town employees. The department focuses on community outreach and engagement, media relations, and public relations. The department is also responsible for creating and managing the Town's brand standards(PDF, 1MB).

Our chief purpose is to build relationships with those who work, play, live, and travel within the Town of Morrisville, through ongoing, effective, and open communications.

The Communications Department creates and manages all of the Town's primary communications vehicles, including its weekly and quarterly newsletters and its social media channels.

Minor League Cricket Returns to Church Street Park

Morrisville, NC — Minor League Cricket (MiLC) is back at Church Street Park, with matches scheduled from August 28 through September 15, 2025. Cricket fans across the Triangle can look forward to exciting matchups as top teams from around the country compete in one of the league’s premier venues.

The Town of Morrisville Earns National CAPRA Accreditation

Last month, the Town of Morrisville joined the ranks of elite park and recreation agencies across the country and internationally by earning accreditation through the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA) and the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA). This distinguished accomplishment was awarded during the 2025 NRPA Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida.
