During this event, participants will decorate rocks to add to the garden. Once complete, the garden will remain at MCP for visitors to enjoy—take a rock for encouragement or leave one to brighten someone else’s day.

This program is open to all ages and perfect for anyone who wants to spread a little kindness.

Butterfly Scavenger Hunt

Celebrate Parks and Recreation Month with The Power of Parks and Recreation by joining our community‑wide Butterfly Scavenger Hunt! We’re encouraging residents to get outside, explore Morrisville’s parks, and enjoy a little adventure along the way.

Here’s how it works: Two butterfly images have been placed in each of the following parks:

  • Morrisville Community Park

  • Northwest Park

  • Church Street Park

  • Shiloh Park

  • Indian Creek Trailhead

Each butterfly has a unique alphanumeric code. Find all 10 butterflies, write down their codes, and submit them using the form below to be entered into a drawing for a Morrisville Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Prize Pack.

Butterflies will be placed on July 1 and removed on July 31. Happy butterfly hunting!
