Household Hazardous Waste Disposal

Due to their caustic properties and their potential for environmental contamination, household hazardous waste materials must be properly disposed of by a certified Household Hazardous Waste contractor.

  • Household hazardous waste materials are not collected as part of the Town's Solid Waste Services from GFL.
  • The Town does offer drive-thru recycling of batteries, bulbs, and electronics during our Green Day events in the Spring and Fall.
  • Cooking oil drop-off is available in the designated cabinet at the Public Works office.
