The Town of Morrisville is breaking ground for the Town Center site on Wednesday Sept. 24, at 4:30 p.m. at the site of the Healthy Food Hub (280 Town Hall Drive).Town Center will be a 25-acre mixed-use development envisioned as the community’s future downtown. Designed as a pedestrian-friendly hub, the project will connect neighborhoods while creating a destination for dining, gathering and outdoor activity.

“This is truly a milestone, not just for the Town Center project, but for the Morrisville community," said Town Manager Brandon Zuidema."This groundbreaking follows years of work by previous and current Town Council members, staff, and our partners with Singh Development LLC and the Development Finance Initiative (DFI) at the UNC School of Government. The Town Center, Morrisville’s new downtown, adds a whole new dimension to our community and to our ability to draw visitors from across the region.”
