Comprehensive Transportation Plan Update

The Town of Morrisville is updating its Comprehensive Transportation Plan, which will guide future improvements to the transportation infrastructure people use to get around town through 2045. Your participation is essential during the development of this plan.

What is a Comprehensive Transportation Plan?

The Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) will help us coordinate transportation improvements with future development, establish policies and programs, and get projects funded. The plan will cover all modes of transportation, including roadways, bicycle facilities, sidewalks, trails, and transit services.

How Can I Get Involved?

The plan update process is a community-driven effort, so we need your input! To stay involved, visit this webpage for project updates, public meeting information, public survey information, and for opportunities to provide feedback and help direct the future of transportation in Morrisville. You may sign up to receive updates on our plan development progress here.

Current and Upcoming Engagement

Throughout the month of April, the Town is inviting the public’s feedback on the full assortment of potential transportation projects that respond to identified needs, as well as the criteria the Town will use to prioritize them through the 2045 horizon of the plan. Help direct the future of transportation in Morrisville by providing your feedback on potential future transportation projects and taking the transportation priorities survey below.

Also join us for a drop-in style public workshop on Tuesday, April 21, from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Historic Christian Church, located at 222 Church Street in Morrisville, to take a closer look at the potential projects and provide your feedback on priorities.

Fall 2025 Engagement Recap

During the Town’s Fall 2025 outreach for the Comprehensive Transportation Plan Update, the Town held a public workshop, 2 pop-up events at Boo Bash and Diwali, and posted an online survey during the month of October. Over 100 comments were received on the CTP through this engagement. Thank you for your input!

Project Schedule

An updated plan is expected to be considered for adoption by the Morrisville Town Council in late 2026.
