Morrisville's Church Street Park Northern Lot, located at 5800 Cricket Pitch Way, will be closed to the public from Monday, April 27, to Monday, June 1, while lighting upgrades are installed. The closure will impact the cricket field, pitch, walking track, shelter, grandstands, playground, tennis courts and parking lot.

Springfest is Morrisville’s annual celebration of all things spring. Enjoy music, artisan vendors, make-and-take crafts and the Western Wake Farmers Market. Don't miss the Morrisville Chalk Walk, where artists bring the pavement to life with vibrant works of art. This flower-powered event offers fun for the whole family.
Free parking will be available at Church Street Park (CSP). A Shuttle will run from CSP to the Indian Creek Trailhead throughout the event.
Register to be a chalk artist at SpringFest on Saturday, April 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Indian Creek Trailhead. Morrisville’s Second Annual Chalk Walk will take place along the Indian Creek Greenway, welcoming artists of all ages to take part in this colorful community tradition. Participants will compete within three age groups: Youth (Grades 1–7, Ages 6–12), Teen (Grades 8–12, Ages 13–17), and Adults (Ages 18+). The $10 entry fee includes 12 pieces of vibrant sidewalk chalk and access to water refills throughout the event. Each age group will have a winner who will receive a special prize, with winners chosen through public voting on social media the week following the event.
The southbound lanes of Town Hall Drive (starting at the intersection of Town Hall Drive and Morrisville Carpenter Road, stretching to the roundabout at the Morrisville Community Library) will be closed for the duration of the event.
