Public Art

Morrisville Icon Project

The Town of Morrisville called on the community to help shape its next public art project — an iconic symbol that represents the heart of the Town. Similar to how other cities showcase uniquely painted sculptures throughout their communities, Morrisville aims to create a signature icon that reflects its character and culture. Community members were asked on social media and various outreach events to submit their ideas for an icon throughout the summer. Morrisville Town Council is anticipated to select an icon in November.

Morrisville Mural Program

The Town of Morrisville is now home to three murals! We are thrilled to activate and enhance the cultural connectivity and vitality of the Town through engaging artwork and creative placemaking. Check out the murals below for more information on where you can find them. Post a photo with our murals and use #morrisvillemurals to possibly be featured on our social media.

The Town of Morrisville was awarded an Arts for Towns grant by the United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County.
