Information Technology

The Information Technology Department is responsible for the security and management of the Town’s technology infrastructure. The department provides technical support to all Town staff and for more than 14 Town facilities. The department is also responsible for providing public-facing services like public Wi-Fi access, open data, smart city program, and the mobile application.

The IT Department is comprised of nine full-time employees with a broad range of experience. The department has six primary focus areas, which are:

  • Support
  • Systems
  • Network
  • Security
  • GIS
  • Innovation

The department's mission is "To use technology and data to improve operational efficiencies and positively impact resident quality of life, while aligning with the Town’s strategic goals."
